Srinagar: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar forecasted further showers in isolated areas of J&K until the end of the month and ruled out precipitation on the 27th and 28th of September.

According to various reports, an official from the MeT Centre stated in its most recent meteorological update that there was no likelihood of rain on Wednesday or Thursday (September 27 and 28) but that rain is likely to occur tomorrow (September 26) in the remote areas of Jammu and Kashmir.

Additionally, it was stated that rain was likely to begin falling in various areas of the UT on the 29th and 30th of this month, which are Friday and Saturday. The weatherman stated that there was “generally no forecast of any major rain/snowfall for the next one week.”

According to reports about the local weather in J&K, isolated areas of Jammu region and dispersed regions in Kashmir may experience light rain.

The official continued in the weather update, “During the past 24 hours, widespread light to moderate rain with snowfall over higher reaches of Kashmir was observed and light rain at isolated places of Jammu.”
