Meerut: In a chilling turn of events, Meerut police have uncovered a sinister murder plot where a woman, Archana, allegedly conspired with her lover, Saurabh, to orchestrate the killing of her husband, Arun Prajapati. The incident, initially reported as a robbery, has taken a dark twist following a thorough investigation.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rohit Singh Sajwan revealed that Arun Prajapati was shot dead in the Saroorpur police station area while returning with his wife Archana to her in-laws’ place in Baghpat district. Archana initially claimed that her husband fell victim to a random robbery, but law enforcement officials soon discovered a web of deceit.

Further probing revealed that Archana had maintained an extramarital affair with Saurabh despite being recently married to Arun. The illicit couple allegedly hatched a plan to eliminate Arun, paving the way for their own marriage.

“We have arrested Archana and Saurabh. Teams have been formed to apprehend Bholu, Arjun, and Harsh, who assisted the duo in executing this heinous crime,” stated SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan.
