Srinagar: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has declared an impending increase in power curtailment throughout the Kashmir Valley, citing constrained power availability. In an announcement made on Monday, the corporation stressed the necessity for consumers to comprehend the situation and utilize electricity judiciously, particularly during peak hours.

On a post shared on “X” , KPDCL reiterated the inevitability of ongoing power curtailment due to existing limitations in power availability. Nonetheless, they provided assurance that these restrictions would be alleviated once the power situation ameliorates.

Emphasizing responsible electricity usage, the Corporation urged consumers to refrain from overloading circuits or engaging in illegal hookups, especially during peak hours. Such practices exacerbate the strain on the already limited power resources.
