Srinagar: Four people, including three tourists and a local resident, tragically lost their lives, while 17 others were injured in a road accident near Gund Kangan in the Ganderbal district on Sunday.
According to a senior police official, the accident occurred when a cab collided with a bus, leading to the fatalities and multiple injuries. The deceased included three tourists and one local resident.
All the injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital, with three requiring advanced treatment at SKIMS Soura. Their condition is reported to be stable.
The police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further investigation is underway.
