Mumbai: Renowned singer and composer Vishal Dadlani has announced his departure from Indian Idol after judging six seasons of the popular singing reality show. Taking to Instagram, he shared a farewell video with fellow judges Shreya Ghoshal and Badshah, expressing gratitude for the love he received during his time on the show.
Explaining his decision, Vishal stated he simply wants his time back. “Can’t stay stuck in Mumbai for six months each year,” he wrote, adding that he’s now shifting focus to creating music, performing live concerts, and embracing life without make-up.
