Sopore:The North Kashmir Education Fest 2025, held under the inspiring theme “Taleem Se Taraqee”, emerged as a milestone event aimed at transforming the educational landscape and empowering the youth of the Valley.
Organized by the Indian Army in collaboration with the District Administrations of Kupwara, Baramulla and Bandipora, the event took place at the Subhan Sports Stadium in Sopore. Drawing a crowd of over 3,000 students, the fest served as a vibrant hub for learning, exploration, and opportunity.
Students engaged with a broad range of academic fields including science, engineering, business, humanities, arts, and social sciences. The fest also offered tailored aptitude-based career counseling sessions, helping students make informed choices for their futures.
In a significant push toward educational equity, scholarships worth Rs 3 crore were announced for meritorious students from economically weaker sections and tribal communities—underscoring the fest’s commitment to inclusive growth.
A key highlight of the event was the Know Your Army campaign, which offered students a closer look at career opportunities in the Indian Armed Forces. This initiative not only fostered a sense of patriotism but also provided valuable insights into paths of national service.
