Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, said on Saturday that there will be no restrictions on the eve of Independence Day in Kashmir, and that the internet and facilities will be accessible as usual.
According to multiple reports, Bidhuri said during a press conference held here in his office chamber that all arrangements have been made to ensure a successful celebration of Independence Day.
He also explained that due to a lack of space and the administration’s expectation of a significant increase in participation this year, the major event’s location in Srinagar has been changed from Sk Stadium to Bakshi Stadium.
Additionally, Bidhuri invited people to join the Tiranga march tomorrow beginning at 6 AM from the Botanical Garden.
He also appealed to people to participate in the main event on August 15 and informed them that there is no need for any pass to attend the event.
