Kulgam: On Sunday morning, a fire started in the union territory’s Kulgam district’s D H Pora forest range.

The smoke was so thick that it covered the entire woodland.

The locals were observed scraping the half burned sticks and logs to make sure all the hot embers were off them in an effort to stop the fire from spreading.
