20 structures including sheds gutted in blaze in Srinagar’s Parimpora
Despite their best efforts, the Fire and Emergency Department was unable to save the structures because they had already been completely destroyed by the fire. According to reports, the fire destroyed thousands of dollars’ worth of goods, however no fatalities were reported. The cause of the incident is being determined, according to an incident & Emergency representative. The residents were terrified by the fire. In order to put out the fire, firefighters needed more than four hours. Noor Alam, Divisional Fire Officer (DFO) of the Fire & Emergency Department in Srinagar, acknowledged the fire event and stated that 20 structures, including sheds, were completely destroyed. He stated that there might be more destroyed buildings because workers are still on the scene attempting to determine the precise number of damaged homes.
