Mumbai: Renowned actor Shah Rukh Khan excitedly revealed on Saturday that advance booking is now available for his upcoming film “Dunki.” Helmed by director Rajkumar Hirani, the much-anticipated movie is slated for a theatrical release on December 21 and boasts a star-studded cast including Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover.

In a social media announcement, the 58-year-old actor exclaimed, “Aaj ki tazaa khabar sunn ke… Hardy toh nikal pada hai cinemas ki ore. Aap bhi kar lijiye taiyaari… Kyun ki khul chuki hai advance bookings humari. Book your tickets now.”

Presented as an epic tale of friendships, borders, homesickness, and love, “Dunki” unfolds as a comedy-drama that explores the concept of illegal immigration through a technique known as ‘donkey flight.’

This film stands as Shah Rukh’s third and final release of 2023, following the consecutive triumphs of the action-packed blockbusters “Pathaan” and “Jawan.”

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, “Dunki” is crafted from a screenplay co-authored by Hirani alongside Abhijaat Joshi and Kanika Dhillon.
