Mumbai: Television actress Dipika Kakar, who embraced motherhood in 2023 has returned to the small screen after a four-year hiatus. Now a contestant on Celebrity MasterChef India, she balances her professional life with family moments, expressing gratitude for the break that allowed her to dedicate time to her son, Ruhaan.
Reflecting on her decision, Dipika said, “I am very grateful to have had the privilege to take a break from my career and focus fully on motherhood, which has always been my dream.”
She shared with judges Farah Khan and Ranveer Brar that she and her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, planned parenthood carefully to ensure financial stability and allow her to devote herself entirely to parenting.
During the show, Dipika prepared Shoaib’s favourite dish, achaari mutton, as a tribute to her family. She revealed that her son Ruhaan has a sweet tooth and loves fruits and desserts, earning smiles from the judges.
Season 9 of Celebrity MasterChef India, judged by Farah Khan, Vikas Khanna, and Ranveer Brar, will soon premiere on Sony TV. Alongside Dipika, contestants include Tejasswi Prakash, Gaurav Khanna, Faisal Shaikh and others.
