New Delhi: Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has expressed her wish to play the legendary Sridevi on screen, calling her “super iconic.” Speaking at the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour, she said, “It would be Sridevi, ma’am. I think she was super iconic, and she’s somebody I always admired.” Sridevi, regarded as Indian cinema’s first female superstar, had a career spanning over five decades, starring in iconic films such as Mr. India, Sadma, Khuda Gawah, and English Vinglish.
Tamannaah was last seen in the heist thriller Sikandar Ka Muqaddar and is set to appear in the Telugu supernatural thriller Odela 2, directed by Ashok Teja. The film, a sequel to Odela Railway Station, is inspired by real-life incidents in Telangana.
