Altaf Bukhari expresses deep condolences over Ganderbal road accident

The victims, hailing from outside Jammu and Kashmir, were on a sightseeing tour when the unfortunate incident occurred. Rescue teams, including the police and local volunteers, rushed to the spot and managed to evacuate the injured to nearby hospitals.

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) President Altaf Bukhari has expressed profound grief over the tragic road accident that occurred at Gund in the Ganderbal district, claiming the lives of four tourists and leaving nineteen others injured.
The accident took place when a vehicle carrying the tourists skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge. The victims, hailing from outside Jammu and Kashmir, were on a sightseeing tour when the unfortunate incident occurred. Rescue teams, including the police and local volunteers, rushed to the spot and managed to evacuate the injured to nearby hospitals.

In his condolence message, Bukhari described the incident as heart-wrenching and extended his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.

“This tragedy is truly devastating. My thoughts and prayers are with the affected families. May the Almighty give strength to those who lost their loved ones and grant a full recovery to the injured,” Bukhari said.

He also urged the authorities to ensure that adequate medical care is provided to the injured and called for necessary safety measures to prevent such mishaps in the future.
