Justin Bieber opens up about his anger issues: ‘Sometimes I Think I Hate Myself’

Bieber’s candid reflections have struck a chord with fans, as he continues to open up about his struggles with mental health.

Los Angeles: Justin Bieber recently gave his fans a sneak peek into his upcoming album by sharing a behind-the-scenes clip on Instagram. The Canadian pop star was seen jamming on the keyboard alongside a group of talented musicians, including singer-songwriter Jensen McRae, pastor Judah Smith, Josh Mehl, DJ Tay James and producer Camper.

In the caption accompanying the three-minute clip, Bieber reflected on the immense pressure to please others, admitting that it often leaves him feeling drained and disconnected from his true self. “I think I hate myself sometimes when I feel myself start to become inauthentic,” he wrote. “Then I remember we’re all being made to think we’re not enough, but I still hate when I change myself to please people.”

Bieber’s candid reflections have struck a chord with fans, as he continues to open up about his struggles with mental health. In a previous post, the Peaches singer revealed that he is working on controlling his anger, saying, “I’ve got anger issues too, but I want to grow and not react so much smh.”

The Instagram post also included three photos—a moody shot of Bieber hiding under a hoodie, a nostalgic throwback from his childhood, and an adorable picture of his newborn son, Jack Blues. Fans are now speculating that his upcoming album may be his most personal work yet, delving into his past struggles, complex relationships, and the newfound experience of fatherhood.

On 16 March, Bieber opened up further about his journey of letting go of hate in an Instagram Story. He wrote, “I was always told when I was a kid not to hate … but it made me feel like I wasn’t allowed to have it, and so I didn’t tell anyone I’ve had it.” This heartfelt confession followed another vulnerable post on 13 March, where he admitted to feeling “unequipped and unqualified most days.”

As Bieber continues to share his journey, fans eagerly await the release of his new album, hoping to hear a raw and honest reflection of his life’s ups and downs.
