Baramulla: In a recent administrative reshuffle by the Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department, Mr. Altaf Hussain Tarra, In-charge Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Baramulla, has been attached to the office of the Director, School Education Kashmir.
As per Government Order No. 333-JK(Edu) of 2025 dated 21 April 2025, Mr. Ashok K. Raina, Principal of DIET Sopore, has been assigned the additional charge of Chief Education Officer, Baramulla. Raina will hold this responsibility alongside his existing duties until further orders are issued.
The order was issued in the interest of administration and signed by Shantmanu, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) of the School Education Department.
The order was officially endorsed by the Under Secretary to the Government, Thannaji Bhat, and has been circulated to relevant authorities including the Ministry of Home Affairs (GoI), Director School Education Kashmir, Joint Directors of SCERT and JKBOSE, and others.
