Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday reviewed the status of several vital National Highway and Expressway projects, aimed at improving regional infrastructure and connectivity.
In a statement shared by the Chief Minister’s Office on X (formerly Twitter), Omar Abdullah said, “Reviewed the progress of key National Highway and Expressway projects in Jammu & Kashmir, including the DAK Expressway, Jammu and Srinagar Ring Roads, NH-44, and NH-144A.”
He described these infrastructure works as “transformative projects” that are central to enhancing connectivity across the region. He further emphasised that ensuring their timely completion and maintaining effective coordination among implementing agencies remains the administration’s top priority.
