The Lieutenant Governor also applauded the role of security personnel and praised the resilience of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Aishmuqam: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has accused Pakistan of attempting to sabotage the Union Territory’s developmental strides and disrupt communal harmony. His remarks came during a religious event held in Aishmuqam on Monday.

Speaking to the gathering, LG Sinha referred to Pakistan as a “terrorist country” and alleged that it was behind efforts to reverse the progress Jammu and Kashmir has achieved in recent years. “Pakistan is determined to dismantle the peace and progress we’ve built over the last five years. It seeks to divide us and derail our unity,” he said, according to various reports.

Sinha underscored the importance of a united front in the face of these challenges. “The agenda of such hostile forces can only be defeated through our collective strength. While our security forces and police are bravely fighting terrorism, the support of the people remains equally vital,” he said.

Calling for increased public cooperation, Sinha urged citizens to remain vigilant and proactive. “Only with the help of timely information and active involvement of the people can terrorism be wiped out completely,” he stated.

The Lieutenant Governor also applauded the role of security personnel and praised the resilience of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. “Despite repeated provocations, the people have stood firm, showing restraint and unity. We will not let anyone sow seeds of division among us,” he asserted.

The comments come amid continued efforts by the administration to foster peace and development in the region, while tackling external threats aimed at destabilising Jammu and Kashmir.
